Partial wedding planning

Partial wedding planning means you plan your wedding yourselves and bring me in for exactly the tasks where you need support. That might be the search for a venue, one particular vendor or the common thread that is still missing. You order à la carte and keep everything else in your own hands.

Who it’s for

Is this right for you?

Partial planning is meant for couples who enjoy planning and want to do a lot themselves but are stuck at one point. Perhaps you have already seen twenty venues and none of them fits. Perhaps everything is settled except the band and the photographer. Or you have a hundred ideas on Pinterest and no picture in your head of how they become one celebration.

It is less suitable if almost everything is still open and you are short of time. Many individual building blocks then quickly turn into full planning in instalments, and the full package is the better choice. Also good to know: with partial planning, responsibility for the big picture stays with you.

Building blocks you can book individually

  • Venue search: You tell me the region, guest count, budget and mood. I research, check availability and present a selection that is genuinely worth considering.
  • Vendor search: For individual vendors or the whole team. You receive suggestions with quotes; the decision and the booking are yours.
  • Concept: Your ideas become one coherent picture with colours, materials and a mood board. How that works is described on the decor concept page.
  • Budget check and timeline: An outside view of your numbers and your schedule before things get expensive or tight.
  • Fully bespoke: I can also put together an individual package based on what you have in mind.

The building blocks can be combined. If you also want someone by your side on the day itself, day-of coordination is the natural addition.

Where partial planning ends

I deliver results you can keep working with: a selection, a recommendation, a plan. Ongoing coordination with everyone involved over many months is not part of it – that is the core of full wedding planning.

If you realise along the way that you would like to hand over more, we can extend our collaboration. Whatever you have already booked is taken into account.

How it works

The process.

Step by step, from the first hello to after the party.

  1. 01

    Free first call

You tell me how far you have got and where you are stuck. Often it becomes clear right here whether one building block is enough or whether two belong together.

  2. 02

    Proposal by scope

I summarise what I take on and what I do not, and give you a price for it. That way you know exactly what you are getting beforehand.

  3. 03

    Briefing

For each building block I clarify the criteria with you. What does the venue need to offer, what may the band cost, which colours are out of the question. The clearer the briefing, the better the result.

  4. 04

    Research and suggestions

I get to work and come back with a selection that I go through with you. If nothing fits yet, we refine.

  5. 05

    Handover

You receive all documents, contacts and notes in one place. From here you carry on planning yourselves – with one worry less.

Price range

What does it cost?

What partial planning costs depends on which building blocks you book and how much work they involve. A venue search in Munich for sixty guests is different from a complete vendor team for a weekend by the lake. In any case it costs less than full planning. After the first call I give you a fixed price for exactly the scope we discussed.

With full planning, the entire organisation is with me, from the first concept to the wedding day. With partial planning I take on individual, clearly defined tasks and hand the result over to you. The planning as a whole, all bookings and the overview stay with you.

Yes, as long as my calendar allows. Many couples start with the venue search and then realise they would also like support with the concept or on the day itself. Let me know early so that I can keep the time free for you.

Especially then. Once the venue and the main vendors are in place, what is often still missing is the common thread, a realistic timeline or one last piece you no longer have the energy for. I step in wherever you are right now.

Not automatically. Being there on the day is a service of its own, day-of coordination. It combines well with partial planning because I already know your wedding by then.

Yes. Research, calls and the handover all work online and in English. Where it helps, I can attend a viewing on your behalf and report back with photos and my impressions.
