From a wish to a colour concept
It rarely starts with a colour. Mostly it is an image, a place or a feeling, such as “like a long evening in Italy” or “colourful, but not kitsch”. From there the concept develops in three steps.
- Collect: You show me everything that appeals to you. Pinterest boards, photos, the invitation, the dress, a fabric you like. I also look at the venue, because walls, floor and light always have a say.
- Sort: I look for what your images have in common and build a mood board from it. This is where you see for the first time how your ideas work together, and what we deliberately leave out.
- Decide: The mood board becomes a colour palette with a few main tones and accents, plus materials, flowers and shapes. From then on this palette is the yardstick for every decision, from the table runner to the menu card.
The benefit for you: you no longer have to wonder with every single item whether it fits. The concept answers the question.
